Not many Nigerians are happy that the lockdown was extended even though they realise that it is for the good of everyone. Many people have taken to their various social media pages to air their opinions about it.
While some complained that the extended lockdown means extended days of staying at home in hunger and starvation, others prayed that the coronavirus pandemic quickly blows away so that they can get back to their normal life as they are bored of being at home.
Singer Teni is one of those people who are tired of staying at home. Taking to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, the Uyo Meyo crooner said that the extended 14 days lockdown has made food become her ‘bestest’ friend.
She shared a video of her eating Eba and assorted Okro soup. In the video, she stated that the extended lockdown is making her eat more.
“I’ve been through a lot of things in my life, I have never been through boredom like this. I’m going mad because food was my best friend, now, food is my bestest friend. I’m at home 24hours, what do you expect me to be doing? It’s eating. It’s food and I am afraid of my stomach because, at the rate at which I’m going inside this 14 days lockdown, my stomach will be big
